you never know
when you'll eat
your last orange
or when to
appreciate even
the bitter ones
or how to peel
a rind without
breaking it
and keeping
your fingernails
clean but if
you are good
at naming
each inanimate
object you see
you might
remember
to sniff
the citrus
on the tips
of your fingers
before it is gone
and thank
the doors
for holding themselves
open for you

Oh, My Word! Here’s a very quick orange-focused exercise I wrote! Thanks for reading it! Leave a comment below!
