I missed a blog post last week
And for that, I am sorry
To who?
Myself, mostly.

I shouldn’t beat myself up
Over the simple fact
That my creative thoughts
Have been trapped.

However, there’s something more:
It’s become less 
Of a priority,
And that’s as bad as it gets.

This blog was
Built to operate as
An approachable,
Creative canvas,

But it started to be
An obligation
That I have only
Considered on occasion.

Yet, the only one
Who this could hurt
Is me,
For neglecting my art.

Thus, I shall make
Myself an oath,
To make time for my work,
And not let this promise be broke.
